Qualifications and Experience
I hold a Masters degree in Core Process Psychotherapy and am accredited with the UKCP. I also have a Diploma in Transpersonal Couples Counselling and Psychotherapy, from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE), London.
I have been seeing private clients since April 2008 and am in regular supervision.
In September 2016 I joined the teaching staff at the Karuna Institute and am currently teaching on year 3 of the MA in Mindfulness Based Core Process Psychotherapy.
Prior to this I had many years of experience supporting individuals making positive changes, whilst employed by social services and voluntary sector drug and alcohol agencies. More recently I worked part-time with the NHS as an alcohol counsellor.
I am a member of the British Psychological Society and have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Before engaging in therapeutic work, I have also taught in schools and lectured in health psychology at Kent University on the Social Sciences BSc. Honours degree course.
